Presidents

-Chair of POTUS’ Executive Committee
To oversee all POTUS activities including financial, social, philanthropic, as well as academic events and ensure that the events run smoothly and respect McGill and SSMU by-laws and codes of conduct.
-Liaison between SPOT faculty and POTUS
-Organize annual POTUS elections and the annual QY/U3
-Wine and Cheese
-To attend President’s Roundtable Meetings hosted by the President of SSMU, MASH meetings

VP Communications
Malina Moskun
-To overlook all the logistics regarding the running of the
POTUS Legislative Council.
-Sits on the communications and development SPOT committee.
-A part of the Medicine Faculty Council and attend their meetings.
-Ensure the proper running of the POTUS’ social media outlets, bi-weekly newsletters and the POTUS website.

VP Finance

-To undertake all the operation and management of all the
monetary and budgeting needs of POTUS, ensuring our
accounts are in order
-Responsible for sponsorship packages

VP Internal Affairs

VP External
Elisa D’Amore

-Sit on the legislative council of SSMU as the Physical and Occupational Therapy Representative.
-Attend SSMU legislative council meetings, SSMU general assemblies, submit a councilor report every second Sunday following the council, attend councilor retreat, submit document x1 a semester explaining what
POTUS is doing.
-Be a member of at least one sub-committee of SSMU

VP Occupational Therapy
Alexa Long-Metcalfe
-Liaison between the OT students, the OT faculty and administration members.
-Attend the OT Student-Faculty Liaison meetings and the OT Faculty Liaison meetings
-Collect the names of all OT U3/QY students to order clinical name tags.
-Organize OT Week
-Acting as CAOT/OEQ representative is the liaison between POTUS and the CAOT/OEQ.

VP PT
Katrina Desabrais
-Liaison between the physical therapy undergraduate students, the PT faculty and administration members.
-Attend the PT Student-Faculty Liaison meetings and the
PT Faculty Liaison meetings
-Collect the names of all PT U3/QY students to order clinical name tags.
-Organize PT Day at the end of September
-Act as CPA/OPPQ representative, the liaison between POTUS and the CPA/OPPQ.

VP Equity
Stacey Han
-Organize and coordinate events and activities to celebrate diversity
-Act as liaison between marginalized students, POTUS and SPOT
-Work with all members of POTUS to ensure that their events and practices are as inclusive, accessible, equitable
and sustainable as possible
-Member of PT ideal and OT repair

VP Wellness
Eloise Belanger
-Organize and coordinate events and activities to promote student health & well-being as well as to celebrate diversity and participate in SSMU mental health advocacy events
-Liaise regularly with the WELL Office
-Sits on sub-committees of the WELL office (not finalized; new this year)

POTUS Senator

-To represent SPOT and POTUS in university affairs.
-In some cases, this includes being a member of the McGill Senate as the Physical and Occupational Therapy
Senator. This includes attending a senate meeting, having
voting rights, being a member of a MINIMUM of two university committees, having voting rights both at the
SSMU Senate Caucus and the McGill University Senate and attending a Councilor Retreat
